SCAFCO® Enclosure Systems
Water Tank Sales specializes in the sale and/or installation of CorGal™ Water / Liquid Storage Tanks and Scafco® Building Enclosures for Residential & Commercial Development, Agriculture, and Industry. Water Storage Tanks and Enclosures are structurally constructed of Scafco corrugated galvanized sheet metal and they have a multitude of uses.
Some uses of water tanks and enclosures include: Potable Water Storage, Fish Brooding, Waste Water Clarifiers, Storm Water Detention and Treatment, Enclosures for Buildings and Bulk Storage, Thermal Storage, Water Cooling, Septic and Gray Water Storage, Industrial Liquid Storage and Processing, Rainwater Cisterns, Fire Protection, Sand Filters, Dust Control, Industrial Washing, Coal & Mineral Mining, Agriculture, Irrigation, Aquaculture.
CorGal™ Water Storage Tanks and Scafco® Enclosures are constructed of Scafco® corrugated galvanized steel sheet panels that are bolted together on-site. CorGal™ tanks are round and range from 6 to 105 feet in diameter, 5 to 50 feet in overall height, and can hold from 500 to 500,000 gallons. Designed for permanent installations these structures can be disassembled and relocated if the need should arise.
When used for liquid / water storage these tanks are fitted with a pre-liner fabric and a flexible membrane liner for water containment. CorGal™ tanks are usually constructed on a concrete foundation; however, small tanks can be constructed on elevated towers. The use of the flexible membrane liner allows for the distribution of the load equally across the foundation. Other configurations and design alternatives are available, including many component options.
Scafco® enclosures adapt easily to perform as residential homes, as well as a variety of commercial, agricultural, and industrial buildings. Like CorGal™ tanks, enclosures are constructed on an appropriately designed concrete foundation. Windows and doors are set into frames; insulation can be sprayed directly onto the enclosure interior side walls and roof assembly, or placed into interior built stud walls, ceiling and floor joists, and trusses.
Assembly of smaller CorGal™ tanks and Scafco® enclosures can be accomplished without special tools and with semi-skilled labor. However, the assembly of large tanks and enclosures do require the need for specialized scaffolding, lifting equipment, and/or cranes, and knowledgeable on-site supervision is highly recommended. *
CorGal™ / Scafco® representatives are available for job site assistance. In addition to sales, Water Tank Sales, a division of ICF Building Products, Ltd. provides complete installation services.
